Finally, the “voice” was in my hands. I knew instantly that Barbie represented my fears of not being suitable. They could be “super moms” that would cook, clean, work on homework, chauffeur, enjoy the youngsters, and bake cookies (by using a smile), while simultaneously maintaining successful careers.
